The latest dance music for your parties: from “polished” sounds to electro

Last updated on: 4 July 2022

Hi everyone! First of all, I’d like to start by thanking you for all the positive feedback we’ve received at info@dj4.it This autumn-winter season, many birthday parties, which, incidentally, we’ll be celebrating at a new venue we’ve recently acquired in Milan, capable of hosting events for up to 350 people.

But let’s move on to the music! Specifically, with an update concerning the dance music which we provide for your parties, thanks to our professional DJs. It’s a time when lots of great dance tracks are coming out – all hugely successful and going down a treat on the dance floor (I’ve tried them out myself!!!) – but spanning different genres: ranging from tracks (as the great DJ Molella calls them) “combed” (as
Lilly Wood & The Prick – *Prayer In C* and Duke Dumont – *Won’t Look Back* – among the “big hits” electro (Deorro featuring DyCy – Five Hours and Alesso featuring Tove Lo – Heroes) among the tracks Latin pop remixes that are a huge hit in commercial nightclubs: at the moment, the king of the genre is Enrique Iglesias featuring Sean Paul – Bailando (Gregor Salto Remix).

DJs for private parties: here are the hottest tracks of the moment that’ll get everyone dancing

Right, I’d say we should start with the genre “combed“. Let’s go with Lilly Wood & The Prick – Prayer in C, strictly the Robin Schulz version. A track we haven’t grown tired of yet, even though it wasn’t exactly released yesterday, which is usually mixed alongside Keisha’s ‘Hideaway’. Among the more recent tracks, Duke Dumont is also very interesting. We’d already mentioned him here this summer’s hit, and he’s been back for a few weeks now with – Won’t Look Back (Extended Mix), which pays homage to the early 90s sound of Black Box (it sounds a bit like ‘Ride on Time’).

But let’s move on to the tracks electro, with a great shot: these are two brilliant “hits”: Deorro featuring DyCy – Five Hours  e Alesso – Heroes (Original Mix). They’re among the most in-demand artists of the moment; Alesso, in particular, has come on in leaps and bounds: he’s learnt his lesson and, at this rate, he’ll be stealing the limelight from Avicii… Alesso is more commercial and, lately, with ‘Heroes’, he’s been getting a better response on the dance floor than Avicii’s latest hits, such as ‘Lovers on the Sun’ (at least, the original version), which was designed with radio playlists in mind (but at the right moment, it gets people dancing too :-))

And finally… Yes! A bit of Latin pop remixed. Following Shakira’s dominance with *Dare* throughout the summer – the most requested track at all private parties, clubs and commercial nightclubs – comes *Bailando* by Enrique Iglesias featuring Sean Paul. Whilst the original version already gets you moving (even though the BPM is rather low), Gergor Salto’s version is decidedly more energetic and can even be played in proper dance settings. Even if it makes some “purists” turn up their noses, we’ll listen to it anyway, OK? 🙂
