Frequently Asked Questions about Music Booking for Private Parties
Can we choose the music genres for our party?
Certainly. The strength of DJ4 It’s all about personalisation. Before the event, we’ll work with you to set the mood for the evening: from the classics that have marked your journey together to the latest chart-toppers. We’ll create a soundtrack that perfectly reflects your personalities and those of your guests.
Do you bring all the necessary equipment with you?
Yes, we offer a comprehensive service. We provide professional sound systems (tailored to the size of the venue), state-of-the-art DJ consoles and a set of theatrical lights to transform your space into a proper dance floor. All cables will be concealed and the set-up will be neat and stylish.
What happens if the party goes on past the agreed time?
We know that when the party’s in full swing, nobody ever wants to stop dancing. We’re flexible and, if the venue allows it, we can arrange for the event to be extended (extra time) directly during the evening so as not to interrupt your guests’ fun.
Do you also organise events in private homes or gardens?
Absolutely. We have extensive experience in installing sound and lighting systems in homes, private villas and outdoor spaces, taking the utmost care not to damage the structures and to respect the aesthetics of your home.

How early do you arrive to set up?
Our team usually arrives 60–90 minutes before the event begins or the guests arrive. This allows us to set up the equipment, carry out the soundcheck and ensure that every visual detail is perfect, without disrupting the flow of the party.
Can guests request songs during the evening?
Of course! We’re happy to accommodate your guests“ requests, provided they fit in with the mood of the party and the musical ”guidelines’ we’ve agreed with you beforehand. Our aim is to ensure everyone has a good time without ever compromising the style of the event.
Who is responsible for SIAE licences?
By law, the SIAE application is the responsibility of the event organiser. However, to make things as simple as possible for you, we will provide you with a step-by-step guide and all the necessary details (DJ’s name, certificate number, etc.) to complete the online procedure in just a few minutes.
Do you also organise the background music for aperitifs or dinner?
Yes, our service covers the entire event. We manage various “phases” of the sound: a soft, elegant volume for the welcome and the buffet, before ramping up the energy and engagement when it’s time to let loose on the dance floor.
What happens if there is a technical fault with the equipment?
Keeping the music going is our top priority. We always carry emergency (back-up) equipment with us, including spare cables, a spare mixer and redundant sound systems, to ensure the party never stops, no matter what happens.
Would you be willing to carry out an on-site inspection of the venue?
Absolutely. If the venue is complex or we are not already familiar with it, a technical site survey (either in person or virtually via photos/videos) is essential in order to work out the best layout for the lighting and the optimal sound distribution.
