Marry (dance) Christmas: Season’s greetings from your DJs for events and parties!

Hi everyone, are you ready to celebrate Christmas? As for us, when it comes to celebrations… we’re always ready! This year we’ve already had plenty of opportunities to wish you a happy Christmas in person, during the many Christmas parties (especially corporate) over the past few weeks, but for those of you who didn’t catch them live, we’d like to wish you a very Merry Christmas from the pages of our blog 🙂

But here at DJ4 I like birthday wishes set to music, which (if possible) also to dance!

There really are so many songs dance themed Christmas, though many of them are of dubious quality. Do you remember Whigfield, the one from *Saturday Night*? She did this Last Christmas (certainly not memorable) and Ice MC released an album in 1994 entitled It’s A Rainy Day (The Christmas Remix) that is, the version of “It’s A Rainy Day” with a different chorus. More recently, we recall the ’nightmare“ Crazy Frog – Jingle Bells or the rather uninspired Lady Gaga – Christmas Tree. So are there really no good Christmas dance tracks?

We’d like to highlight one that we think is interesting, by this German band, best known for “Every Time We Touch“:

And how could we not mention Mariah Carey, the queen of Christmas? Here she is with All I Want for Christmas Is You in this remix by ‪Shajna ‬

And for lovers of the 1990s (there are more and more of you) we’ve unearthed a real gem: a track from Christmas 1994, produced by Radio Deejay featuring all the top dance artists of that era:

Datura, Ramirez, Ice MC, Blast, Taleesa, Ava & Stone and many others. Do you remember it? Incidentally, the proceeds from this album went to a school in Alessandria that had been hit by the floods.
