DJ for birthday parties: Happy 18th, Mary!

Christmas is drawing near, but here at DJ4 We don’t just focus on company parties, which are typical of this time of year (we’ve just organised one at the Tenuta de l’Annunziata). In fact, it is also time to birthdays, in particular, a eighteenth!

18th birthday party in Milan: DJ set + sound system + lighting set-up

So here we are, ready to tell you about the 18th birthday party by Mary, who got in touch with us about a special birthday party, which was to involve both the friends both the parents and the relatives. A brilliant party, where we were hard at work not only with the DJ set, but also including the supply of the system audio (given the large size of the hall, complete with subwoofers, totalling 3,000 watts, of the very highest quality) and the stage set-up lights, with an illuminated console: Mary didn’t want to miss out on anything: for her – and for us – parties should be fun, of course, but also a treat for the eyes. And given the success of our set-up, I’d say we hit the mark. But let’s get back to the music: we started very early, to accompany the arrival of the first guests from 7.30 pm, and even before the aperitif, the dances!

Pop dance, and then moving on to dance electronics, to the group dances, not forgetting the revival , also to involve parents and relatives: a party for the 18 years old It was really engaging and a bit different from the usual (at 18th birthday parties, the focus tends to be more on the latest hits rather than music from the past). In any case, there was no shortage of the latest hits! In particular, a huge hit was Nicki Minaj e Pitbull.

Then there’s a song: a refined piano-only version of Read all about it  by Emeli Sandé, sung by the birthday girl’s French friend: she was really very good, “helped” by our professional microphone Sennheiser and the effects on the mixing desk Denon: a sophisticated musical “gem” that added a special touch to the party!

Here it is at last, the cake! We’ll blow out the 18 candles to the tune of a truly special (and top-secret!) hippy birthday song, and then it’s time to let our hair down until the party’s over!
