DJ set and catering for the opening of MYES’s new Milan office: DJ4 for corporate events

Here we are with a new DJ4 adventure: the’opening ceremony of the English language school’s new Milan branch Myes, My English School, which already has around twenty branches across Italy, including Bari, Florence, Genoa, Rome and Turin. We’d already realised it was a rather special school from the wall-to-wall whiteboards, the large open-plan rooms and the huge windows: everything suggested a company accustomed to communicating… and this impression was confirmed during the event.

A great deal of care went into the installation. To avoid having too much of an “impact” on the aesthetics of the room – which, as you can see, is modern and “technological“, compact, high-quality speakers were chosen (for the occasion, the JBL carefully wired so that not even a single centimetre of cable is out of place! Yes, we’re a bit of a ’fussy lot“ when it comes to this sort of thing, but the result was very satisfying.

As for the mixing desk: there wasn’t much space available for the DJ set-up, so we decided to bring the new mixing desk for this occasion Pioneer DDJ-RX, which, despite its “human-scale” dimensions, offers excellent sound quality and a very modern, high-tech and “colourful” style: a bit like Myes :-).

The music was very varied, ranging from lounge, deep and soulful tracks for the aperitif to dance and hip-hop for the second part of the evening. The audience was very young, and with a great desire to have fun!
