Farfalle di Luce, DJ4 and East End Studios join forces for the children

Last updated on: 4 July 2022

Friends of DJ4, here we are, acting as sponsor for another charity initiative, this time in support of Butterflies of Light. It is a non-profit solidarity-based movement, with the aim of promoting training, education and social and healthcare support to support disadvantaged children. To this end, Farfalle di Luce organises events designed to bring people together and foster connections, with a view to raising the funds needed to carry out its numerous projects; on this occasion, the Summer Party, which saw us at DJ4 (Mr Ricky) at the decks with a really lively DJ set.

Event at East End Studios featuring a DJ set and sound and lighting services

Providing the backdrop to the party, and in support of the event, were the East End Studios in Milan, on Via Mecenate, a multi-purpose venue where we have already had the opportunity to work on other occasions. It is one of the most important venues in Italy (covering an area of approximately 15,000 square metres), created through the architectural regeneration of industrial warehouses where aeroplanes were once built.

Our DJ set kicked off at’aperitif, with lounge music, before moving on to the’ElectroSwing (which proved very successful) and, finally, dance music, with a particular focus on the revival, whilst not forgetting the current hits. The sound was characterised by Yamaha DXR, which proved extremely effective in this situation where power and quality were required, and Pioneer for the mixing desk.

A project worth supporting all year round

We therefore invite you all to support the Farfalle di Luce charity: please visit their website and the page Facebook, to find out more about this organisation, which is made up of lots of talented people (special thanks to Francesca and Beatrice): we bet you won’t be able to resist supporting the cause! See you soon, from the team at DJ4!
