Thanks to the ability to share videos and audio, have proved to be the best solution to the need to work and keep in touch as a group remotely in our spare time.

Just like the real thing

Our DJ is connected and can be seen on webcam, with a professional console with microphone (the same one we use for live events). The connection is direct to the platform, and the sound quality is absolutely top-notch. And there’s also excellent scope for interaction: The DJ can also chat and liven up the evening, for example, by wishing the guest of honour a happy birthday, etc…

Parties for up to 100 people

Thanks to the Zoom Pro service, you can invite up to 100 people; the festival can last up to 24 hours. so, there’s plenty of time!

To start a video party, whether on a Windows PC or a Mac, you’ll need to download the web app, then click on the link which you will receive by email or via WhatsApp.

At a normal party, people usually split into small groups and chat amongst themselves, which isn’t an option at a Zoom party because everyone is tuned into the same conversation. There is therefore no risk of “small groups” forming” which are usually a obstacle to success at the party. With the right music and the DJ keeping things lively, there are never any awkward silences, and it encourages interaction amongst the guests!

It’s interesting that Zoom offers the option to add a custom background. Let’s use it to create an even more relaxed and festive atmosphere. You can add one, edit it or remove it at any time during the video party. You can also use the “Touch up my appearance” button to apply a smoothing and brightening filter to your face.

To make the Zoom experience even more engaging, why not invite guests to enjoy their alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink whilst dancing?

WHAT ACTIVITIES CAN YOU DO?

Well, it’s not just about chatting and dancing: with the DJ’s help, just like at a “real” party, you can:

- Organise a dance competition between the individual participants and then hold a vote to decide the winners

-Organise dances with synchronised choreography: it’ll be brilliant to see you all again! The effect is similar to that of a packed nightclub, if there are plenty of guests at the virtual party!

How do you take part?

You don’t need to install anything complicated: you’ll receive the link via WhatsApp or email 15 minutes before the agreed start time of the party, and Zoom will launch automatically! You can then join your private party; no one will see the “secret” link apart from the people you want to attend the party!

How do I pay?

Before the party, you’ll be sent a PayPal link to pay the balance! It’s quick and easy!
