Spring 2020: the hottest tracks of the moment, mixed just for you

The Coronavirus has (for the time being – as of 11 April 2020) temporarily put parties on hold, but the music carries on! For your next party – which we’re sure will be here very soon – we’ve picked out the hottest tracks of the moment, mixed just for you: in 10 minutes, here’s a round-up of all the dance hits for spring 2020. While you wait to let your hair down with all your friends… why not start dancing to them on your own, giving it a go! Here’s our mix, which you can also find on Mixcloud.

The mix begins with Physical by Dua Lipa, brimming with influences straight from the 1980s, and continues with two tracks that instead “evoke” the 1970s, drawing somewhat on the typical style of the golden age of disco: In My Arms by Purple Disco Machine e Smiley Face of the Duck Sauce.

Then it’s time for the hugely popular Tequila by Jax Jones and Martin Solveig with Latin-sounding notes, whilst always remaining within the conventions of the genre, which has been around for quite some time now… It then continues Call for Applications by the newcomer Anna, a track that’s particularly popular with very young people. Next, Lady Gaga with Stupid Love e Justin Timberlake with The Other Side, who, in this piece too, really gets things moving, but always with a certain flair… well done!

Also of interest is the unmissable section dedicated to reggaeton, featuring Karol G and Nicki Minaj and their ‘Tusa’, which also features highly in many international rankings, as does Amarillo by J Balvin. A true tribute to club dance music with Roddy Ricch, and its The Box, which brings our “10 songs in 10 minutes” series to a close.
