Here’s another one 18th birthday party in Milan; we’ve returned to a venue that’s dear to us, where we’ve organised quite a few events: it’s Villa Torretta (between Milan and Sesto San Giovanni). This time, however, we were in the hall reserved for special occasions – the one that’s usually used for the New Year’s Eve party, for example.

But, even though it almost felt like a New Year’s Eve party, judging by the energy you unleashed on the dance floor, it was actually a birthday party for the 18 years old.

SOUND AND LIGHTING SYSTEM: AN EXTRA TOUCH FOR YOUR PARTY

But before we move on  a Talking about music, a mention of the work done with the lights: we turned the hotel ballroom into a nightclub, with LED spotlights that They lit up the walls of the venue, and a powerful robot mounted on a very tall stand lit up the dance floor. But you’ll find out for yourselves when you watch the video – if you like the effect. The lads liked it; I think you can tell 🙂

MUSIC FOR AN 18TH BIRTHDAY PARTY: FROM HIP HOP TO DANCE, VIA “HAPPY”

Let’s talk about music, as promised; well, as you saw from the preview at the start of the video, the evening was really “on fire” such as the football-style chant sung by the lads to the tune of Freed from desire by Gala, in a reworked version, but we got there step by step…
First, a bit of international hip hop, then a bit of Italian hip hop, such as Drippin in Milan by Anna, ‘Bandita’ by Jake la Furia, and, as the tempo picks up, ‘Auto blu’ by Shiva and a few hits by Fred De Palma.

And then, finally, a bit of dance music! Pepas “La Dicoteca”, by Farruko, Kungs featuring Never Going Home, Purple Disco Machine and others. Not to mention the 90s… for example, the timeless “Love Forever”Our very own Gigi’s“, as you can see, has really ”made a splash"!

And then there’s the ’70s and ’80s revival! Yes, even 18-year-olds love to let their hair down, in the happiest and most carefree of moments, to the hits from the past that they’ve come to know, such as Grease, and the Italian ones Maracaibo…& Co..

And the finale? A real surprise! A bit of hip-hop freestyle, thanks to a guest who’s a brilliant rapper. Have a listen for yourselves!
