Music and DJ sets for corporate events and cultural associations in Milan

HERE IS THE VIDEO OF THE EVENT:

DJing, for us at DJ4, goes beyond the “usual cliché” that associates us solely with nightclubs and dance music… In fact, for some time now, we have also been dedicating ourselves (not exclusively, mind you…) to events which are not solely about dancing. We also focus on specific projects, such as the presentations (to members, the press, customers) and the corporate events; in this case, we organised the first birthday party for the’cultural association Qualia in Milan, founded in the midst of the lockdown following the Covid pandemic, with the aim of creating “something beautiful and well-structured” and of fostering beauty through the promotion of culture (dialogue and cross-fertilisation are the watchwords).

Our task was to act as directed by throughout the entire event: accompanying the arrival of the first guests with our music right through to the end of the event, and also ensuring the right atmosphere with our uplighting using LED headlights blue (which are very popular, by the way).
We started with the music for aperitifs, with just the right amount of energy, and played at a volume level that ensured socialising with others remained effortless. The selection, as requested by the client, consisted mainly of electroswing, funk, nu-jazz and bossa nova.

Then, the highlight: they have to take to the stage the association’s leadership (the chairwoman, Paola Saia, and a few members). We mark the occasion with a little dance that “lifts” the spirits of those present, sparking a hearty round of applause: the event really gets going and gets into full swing.

EVERY EMOTION HAS ITS OWN “MUSICAL CODE”

Then the video starts… at just the right volume! We ALWAYS carry out sound checks beforehand, just like with the microphones… this aspect, which is often overlooked, is no laughing matter! This is followed by various “calls” to the stage for other members of the association, always accompanied by our music: even though we don’t know exactly when a particular person will be called up (there’s always room for the speaker to improvise) We’ve always got the right tune at the ready… to highlight various “emotional ”nuances” (Sometimes, the aim is to convey a sense of euphoria; at other times, however, it is to evoke reflection, memories or “sensitive” topics: the range extends from piano… to rock).

FROM APERITIFS… TO DANCING!

Below is the cutting the cake, to celebrate the association’s birthday, and then… Everyone onto the track: Thanks to the informal atmosphere of the occasion, and without being intrusive, we got everyone up on the dance floor. It was the perfect way to round off an afternoon and an evening dedicated to celebrating the first achievements and laying the foundations for future goals. We’d like to take this opportunity to remind you that our style is flexible; if the company prefers a musical selection that’s less dance-oriented and more focused on listening (as was the case in the first part of the evening), we’ll be more than happy to adapt our repertoire to your requests; and even our time at the microphone (which, incidentally, we NEVER overdo) can be kept to a minimum or omitted entirely. No problem: our aim is always to ensure the utmost satisfaction of those who have booked us and of all the guests!

Which, even in the case of this event… was certainly not lacking!
