The Design Week (also known as “furniture fair”) is the most important event in Milan and is famous all over the world. It is an opportunity for reflection and experimentation in the fields of design and interior design, as well as culture. In this 2022 edition, the theme is “between space and time” (tra spazio e tempo, in Italian), two words that represent interconnected dimensions and are shaped by the profound changes that characterise today’s world.
Throughout the week, there are many cultural events that attract thousands of visitors, and music is one of the key elements.
We at DJ4 (DJ sets for international events) have experience in this type of event. We have successfully handled the music and entertainment aspects at a number of design week events: let’s take a look. We are based in Milan and we speak English.

These events are not just ordinary parties, and it is important that the DJ you choose is able to accurately capture the concept and atmosphere behind your event. The DJ It should be able to adapt its performance to suit different situations (from accompaniment to dance pieces).
We have organised various events, tailored to the brand that hosted them and based on the customer’s idea.

Thanks to our collaboration with the fantastic team and the creative team at Filmare GroUP, we attended the promotional event for Saviola which gave a preview of the 2019 collection. Every day, we offered themed sound suggestions (Water, Earth, Fire, Air and the Fifth Element were the themes of the Saviola collection).

But we also got everyone dancing at the parties on Thursday (organised exclusively for our most exclusive customers) and on Saturday evening. Here is a short photo report.

Another successful event was the one held for Mastella Design (thanks to Aperosa Events): a rhythmic yet sophisticated DJ set to officially kick off the “Fuori Salone”! Here are some photos.

And if you’re looking for something original, here’s a new idea from DJ4. Following the success of the Milan Fashion Week, we at DJ4 intend to present our electro-swing DJ set also for Design Week.
Electro-swing is one of DJ4’s projects, dedicated to, designed for and developed with a view to special events, which blends the retro atmosphere of the 1920s and 1930s with a modern, electronic sound. The idea is to reinterpret the atmospheres of the past for the present day, through a truly refined selection of music. For Fashion Week, we presented an electro-swing DJ set at the Borsalino showroom (a historic hat brand whose designs have become true icons!). Our electro-swing selection is perfect for both subtle background music and dancing, and we have the expertise to ensure your event – whatever it may be – is a success!
