DJ4 AT THE MIR TRADE FAIR IN RIMINI TO SELECT THE NEW PRODUCTS FOR 2018/19

The’update It is one of the most important elements for an entertainment professional, particularly for a DJ. And we’re not just talking about keeping up with the latest trends in music (which is essential), but also in the audio-visual equipment sector. So… we at DJ4 went to visit the eight pavilions at the third edition of the MIR (Music Inside Rimini).
We’ve discovered lots of exciting new products, which we’ll be showcasing at your events soon. At the stand Audio effects We have explored the potential of the new devices for the Laser Show (At the recent Milan Design Week, we put on a DJ set with a laser theme: here’s HERE (the photos)

Here at Panasonic, we were impressed by the technology Full dome: a projection onto a hemispherical dome where the viewer experiences the thrill of seeing the scene from within (it feels as though you are taking part in it directly): ideal for events, conferences and museum installations.

We also liked the following from the same company: interactive video mapping (take a look HERE the show featuring the fluorescent dancers), which has great potential.

We also took a closer look at the audio sector and DJing, making the most of the stands Pioneer DJ (It’s a shame Denon DJ wasn’t there – we’ve been using their new controllers recently), FBT, Nexo and LD. We were also intrigued by the offering from the small Italian company (the 12 Twelve-Faces (in Padua) of an innovative omnidirectional speaker designed to provide uniform and precise sound distribution in multiple directions. We’ll give it a go!

Returning to the subject of lighting, in the field of LED strips (an element that’s always present at DJ4 events!) there was a real buzz, with lots of great products (such as those from the Cameo).

The new lights are excellent too Philips Vari-Lite (you can see them at 3 minutes and 6 seconds, HERE) incorporated into a line-array sound system from the Bose.

In short, we’ve made full use of technology to select the best products to be proposed at your events!
From small parties right through to events in the town square (we work with the best sound and lighting companies in Italy).

The 2018 MIR line-up, which featured a wide range of live performances (of the 70 on the programme, we featured one towards the end of our official video) successfully captured the interest of industry professionals, so much so that the 2018 event attracted 12,000 visitors, representing a 20% increase on 2017.

Technology, innovation and passion are the cornerstones of DJ4’s success… and of the MIR trade fair too. See you next year!
