Italians’ two greatest passions (music and football) brought together in a single, thrilling event.

Davide Pisani world freestyle football champion and founder of Freestyling Team Italia, and my friend and colleague Jody Belli DJ4.it (DJs providing sound and lighting systems for private and corporate events) present this new project with a highly evocative name: Freestyling Party.

Freestyling Party It is a new entertainment format, born from the coming together of two worlds that are so different yet complementary: on the one hand, the world of entertainment – specifically, a team of DJs – and, on the other, freestyle football professionals.

The impetus for creating this format stemmed from the following observation:

Freestyle football requires not only technical skill, but also creativity and originality in coming up with new tricks and routines to amaze the audience. And with the help of the right soundtrack, the performance can be taken to the next level!
But the DJ’s contribution goes beyond simply enhancing the freestyle performance; they create further moments of entertainment, interacting with the audience through music and the microphone, thereby delivering a fully immersive entertainment experience.

But in practical terms, in what situations is the FreestylingParty suitable?

There are various situations in which the Freestyling Party can make all the difference: parties private, events in square, events corporate, events trade fairs e local.

In short, all those situations where, with the right choice of music and some lively commentary over the microphone, we can “capitalise on” the energy and enthusiasm generated during the freestyle football tricks and moves, and channel it into a moment of pure fun, getting everyone up and dancing.

How does a FreestylingParty event unfold?

The possibilities for customising the Freestyling Party! Not least because the nature of a corporate event or trade fair is a far cry from that of an 18th birthday party.

Usually, our service begins with welcoming the guests, offering a selection of aperitif music – lively yet sophisticated, and played at a volume that isn’t too loud – to allow guests to network. Then, we gradually pick up the tempo, and at just the right moment we get the party dancing, before taking the lead in organising a freestyle performance, which can take place during the event’s highlights (for example, just before or just after the cutting of the cake) or during the prize-giving ceremony, for instance at sporting or corporate events. And let’s not forget that several freestyle performances can be staged within the same event! In short, the best thing to do is to talk to us about Freestyling Party so that we can work together to “put together” the programme best suited to your specific situation!

To host a freestyle event at a party, do you need a football pitch, or will a smaller space do?

The show is extremely versatile and can be adapted to “confined” spaces such as a room in a flat. In such cases, we use our compact sound and lighting system, and the freestyle football professional can perform even in a space measuring just 3 metres by 3 metres – as was the case at a corporate event where, despite the extremely limited space on stage, we managed to stage some incredible stunts!

And what about the ceiling height?

Many freestyle football tricks can also be performed under “standard” ceilings, which are found in all flats (that is, 2 metres 70). Of course, given that tricks performed with the ball in the air are the most popular, having a little more headroom available can certainly be useful for pulling off the most spectacular moves.
