Dance Hits of 2018

New tracks to dance to this spring 2018: here’s the official mix. From Bruno Mars to Steve Aoki

Last updated on: 4 July 2022

Here we go! Spring has officially begun, and we – as punctual as Swiss DJs – are bringing you our new “10 songs in 10 minutes“: the 10 hottest tracks of the moment mixed in just 10 minutes. You can tell spring has arrived from the music too – it’s “warmer” – so much so that, judging by the “caliente” style of the hits – many of which are reggaeton and Latin-inspired – it already feels like… a taste of summer. This is confirmed by the return of J. Balvin (who was already in the charts this autumn with ‘Mi Gente’) with ‘Machika’, and that of Lorna (remember Papi Chulo, from 2003?) who, as part of the Mexican Institute Of Sound project, sang ‘Pa La Calle’, a real dancefloor filler. Similar to that track is ‘Puta’ by Heidy Brown.

An example of a “fusion” between dance music and Latin music, the incredibly powerful Azukita, the result of the collaboration between Steve Aoki, one of the kings of EDM and of Daddy Yankee & Elvis Crespo (artists from the world of reggaeton and salsa/merengue).

Moving on to “pure” house and EDM, we’d like to highlight SDJM & Conor Maynard with That Way (the 2018 version of the Backstreet Boys’ classic track), Denis First’s remix of No Roots by Alice Merton (a real discovery in recent months), So Crazy by Leandro Da Silva (based on the track ‘Crazy in Love’ by Beyoncé) and Axwell and Ingrosso, veterans of the dance charts around the world, featuring Dreamer .

Finally, the last track in our “10 songs in 10 minutes” series takes us into the world of R&B – a rhythmic and sophisticated track, with Finesse by Bruno Mars.
