DJ set for the birthday… of ELVIS PRESLEY! (Elvis Presley-themed party)

Lucio is a flamboyant character who has been working in the world of events and parties; to celebrate his 57th birthday, he took on the role of Elvis and we’ve booked (for the umpteenth time – we’ve worked with him on numerous occasions!) DJ Jody and the ever-reliable Mr Ricky (complete with eccentric jackets and outlandish wigs).

Elvis Presley-themed party: Lucio, Elvis for a day

Lucio is used to impressing his clients and friends with ingenious ideas and truly spectacular solutions.
For his birthday party, he decided to surprise everyone in a fun and over-the-top way.

Ever since his arrival in limousine: in true Elvis style!
The attention to detail is remarkable, starting with the costume from “The Pelvis”, strictly speaking tailored.
right up to the giant screen showing the Memphis singer’s best videos.
As for the music: Lucio made a point of ensuring that, especially during the first part of the party, there would be no shortage of Elvis’s greatest hits – those timeless classics such as “Johnny B. Goode”, ‘Blue Suede Shoes’, ‘Hound Dog’, ‘Jailhouse Rock’ and many others. The effect was truly remarkable: everyone danced to them… the ‘Elvises’ at the party (yes indeed, as well as Lucio, there were others!) and not just them. And speaking of Elvis’s hits, we mustn’t forget the remixes that were created in the years that followed: one in particular, the one by JXL (Junkie XL), ‘A Little Less Conversation’ (originally a track from the soundtrack to his 1968 film *Live a Little, Love a Little*), released in 2002, which really got everyone going! (Twenty years ago, it topped the charts across half the world).

But the party’s soundtrack wasn’t meant to be just themed Elvis: As the evening wore on, there was no shortage of hits from the 80s and 90s, and plenty of upbeat music: Lucio really wanted a wild atmosphere… and we at DJ4 made sure he got exactly what he wanted! The Blues Brothers, Aretha Franklin, The Beach Boys… and all our energy!

All in all, a really exciting party! We can’t wait to see which character he’ll be dressed as for his 58th birthday!
