Like any successful event, Lavinia’s party was the result of meticulous planning. Four months before the big day, Lavinia, together with her dad Raffaele and his partner, began actively working on the arrangements, knowing that the key to a memorable event lies in attention to detail and time management.

Choosing the music, with us at DJ4, and the venue (Metrolofteventi) was crucial. Metrolofteventi, with its spacious and versatile venues, proved to be the perfect setting for an unforgettable birthday party. The venue, situated in the heart of Milan, offers a range of rooms and outdoor spaces, suitable for hosting events of various sizes (in this case, around 30 people). Hospitality: A Magical Atmosphere

The vibrant and welcoming atmosphere was evident from the moment the guests arrived, at around 9.30 pm. On the ground floor, a spacious and well-lit reception area welcomed the guests, offering them a first taste of the evening’s magic.

Right from the very first notes, we took great care over the choice of music. As the guests arrived and enjoyed the’aperitif, the music – carefully curated down to the smallest detail – helped to create a cheerful atmosphere without being overbearing (drawing, in particular, on the “radio-friendly” pop and hip-hop of the moment, such as the latest hits by The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar and Guè). Meanwhile, a lavish buffet of delicacies and a selection of aperitif drinks allowed the guests to socialise and break the ice in an informal setting, creating a festive and convivial atmosphere.

After about an hour of pre-dinner drinks, the atmosphere became increasingly lively; despite the relatively small number of guests – between 25 and 30 people – a contagious energy filled the room. The guests mingled between the two rooms, enjoying each other’s company and letting themselves be carried away by the beat of the music. The music selection – a mix of dance hits, reggaeton and house – had been carefully tailored to Lavinia’s tastes, ensuring there was something to suit everyone’s preferences. Anna was one of the stars of the show, as is often the case at “girls-only” 18th birthday parties. But there was also a lovely international touch, with FE!N by Travis Scott, not to mention Daddy Yankee’s reggaeton and a few group dances, which were greatly appreciated by the girls (group dances are often an excellent way to get all the guests involved and create an even more engaging and fun party atmosphere).

Cutting the Cake: A Thrilling Spectacle

Shortly before midnight, the highlight of the evening arrived: the cutting of the cake. In the main hall, bathed in brighter LED lighting and filled with an atmosphere of joy and applause, Lavinia cut the cake, visibly moved and surrounded by the affection of her friends.

The cake display, with its colourful backdrop and cascade of balloons, provided the perfect setting for the traditional photos, becoming one of the most “Instagrammable” moments of the party. After the photos, it was time for the toast and well-wishes – a deeply moving moment for Lavinia and everyone present. All this was made possible by the music and the engaging commentary from DJs Jody and Mr Ricky: a sure-fire hit.

Gifts: A Gesture of Affection

The party continued with the unwrapping of presents, a special moment that brought the evening to a wonderful close. In a more intimate and peaceful atmosphere, with soft lighting and background music, Lavinia thanked her friends for their gifts and for coming, expressing her gratitude for the affection they had shown her.
