Angela’s 40th birthday party in Naples: DJ set, sound system and lighting

Here’s the festival of the 40 years by Angela, produced by us at DJ4; this time we’re in Naples (DJ4 is based in Milan, but we work throughout Italy, although we operate mainly in the north and centre). The party took place at a truly special venue: a villa overlooking the Gulf of Pozzuoli (a stone’s throw from Naples), with a beautiful garden, decorated for the occasion with some stunning light displays (even on the trees).

The set-up began in the afternoon (we provided our own sound and lighting equipment, which is also suitable for outdoor events) because we had to be ready for the aperitif, which – as you can hear from the video, filmed entirely live – featured not only the great classics such as Mario Biondi, Gotan Project, etc., also featured hits by Neapolitan artists such as Pino Daniele and the “new generation” of quality Neapolitan music, such as Nu Genea with Marechià.

As you’ve seen right from the start of the video, it was a really lively evening – but a stylish one!
Plenty of space for the 70s/80s revival, which was a hit with everyone (there were even quite a few very young guests among the attendees!) – as you can see from the preview, Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Girls Just Want to Have Fun’ got everyone dancing… even the fish in the Gulf of Pozzuoli 🙂 not to mention ABBA and many others. Then, there was some happy, carefree music, featuring *Grease*, the Beach Boys and a touch of the Italian group Maracaibo… & company.
