Summer 2018 Songs
For us city DJs, the changing of the seasons is, first and foremost, a matter of beats. Even before we see them peeking through our windows, we can sense them coming through the sounds and rhythms of the chart-topping hits. It has to be said, however, that something has changed in recent years: to paraphrase a common saying, we’d be tempted to say that, when it comes to music, “there are no seasons anymore”. In fact, Latin-inspired rhythms are now a constant throughout the year, although – there’s no point denying it – they really do take centre stage during the warmer months. Fortunately, though, there’s no shortage of dance and house tracks that have nothing Latin about them, yet still enjoy global success.
Summer 2018 Hits: the best tracks mixed just for you
So, once again this year, we’ve selected and mixed the most popular summer hits and dance tracks that you’ve been asking for most at parties (both private and corporate) and club nights at this time of year. The songs are very different from one another, as you can see by reading (and listening to) the list below: from songs with a distinctly Latin flavour (‘Pem Pem’ by Elettra Lamborgini, ‘La Cintura’ by Alvaro Soler and the Italian tracks ‘Amore e Capoeira’ and ‘Nero Bali’) to the more club-oriented house sounds of Purple Disco Machine, with ‘Dished’, and Calvin Harris, with his ‘One Kiss’, sung by Dua Lipa.
Thank you all, and have a great summer!

Here are the 10 songs of Summer 2018, mixed just for you! Ready to dance to them with us at your next private party, corporate event or at your favourite venue? We’ve already got them in our “DJ BAG” for your party, along with, of course, the all-time classics that we’ve tested, “tried and tested” and collected over more than 20 years in the business, to ensure you have a great time, in style and with plenty of energy.
There are also many other tracks from this summer that we haven’t mentioned due to space constraints, particularly when it comes to music for listening and “aperitif” moments (deep house, new funky, etc.), which is very “stylish” and classy, and which we often play alongside the saxophonist. We’ll be sure to update you on this music soon!
