Our DJ4SWING – ElectroSwing Party – is the new format devised by DJ4 (a company specialising in DJs for parties, events and nightspots) that’s taking Italy by storm: the secret to its success lies in blending the swing atmosphere of the 1930s with electronic music – which is taking the world by storm – in true ’The Great Gatsby“ style. Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, Glenn Miller: the rhythms of the ”legends“ of swing reimagined with a modern beat. And this is where it all comes to life DJ4SWING – ElectroSwing Party, a dedicated project featuring our top talent from the Italian Electro Swing scene, who specialise in this field. Not just any DJs, but professionals capable of making a difference, supported by a team of technicians, to create a memorable evening. A SOUND THAT COMES FROM FAR AWAY
The dawn of music electro swing (when it wasn’t yet known by that name) date back to the mid- the 1990s with Lucas With the Lid Off by Lucas Secon, which, to everyone’s surprise, made it into the US Top 40. In the years that followed, the foundations were laid for the huge success of this musical genre, which has a large following in France, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (as well as Italy).

But we have to wait until 2002, the year in which, thanks to the Jazzbit with “Sing Sing Sing” and at the Gabin With “It Don’t Mean a Thing” (featuring a sample “borrowed” from the jazz musician Ellington), electro-swing music became famous all over the world. Among the leading figures of the genre are Caravan Palace and, above all, the Austrian Parov Stelar, a true icon – original and brilliant – who has produced countless hits throughout his career, the latest of which All Night, which has become the soundtrack to the advert for the TIM. Here’s our mix (10 tracks in 10 minutes) featuring the most interesting electro-swing tracks, which we always make sure to play at our nights DJ4SWING – ElectroSwing Party.
A CONSTANTLY EVOLVING REPERTOIRE!
Although electro swing is based on hits from many years ago, it’s constantly evolving, and we always keep up with the latest trends! For example, in this 2023, is getting everyone dancing Glenn Gatsby & Wolfgang Lohr – Don’t Drink & Jive , and, in particular, it is set to be the star of summer 2023 The Soulmate Project – Keep My Boots On: As the title suggests, Soulmate Project’s boots are made for walking… and, above all, for dancing! With a Balkan-inspired house beat, it has become a staple of summer Electro Swing parties.

FOR NIGHTCLUBS AND VENUES
DJ4SWING – ElectroSwing Party© is a modular format, conceived to fit into an evening’s programme or to create an entire one night, featuring a DJ set. The standard duration of the DJ set is 90 minutes, but a different duration can be arranged. We can use the venue’s sound and lighting equipment, or provide technical upgrades, depending on the situation.
THE SHOW IS READY TO BEGIN!
We would also like to point out that the performance can also be enhanced, on request, with themed choreography (dancers, stage sets, props). In short, a spectacular show is guaranteed. As is professionalism in the organisation of the evening: everything is agreed with the venue’s artistic management to ensure a high standard qualitative.
FOR PRIVATE AND PUBLIC EVENTS
From launch by products, at presentations for new brands and companies; our show is particularly well-suited to them business events. The image of class and style conveyed by the project has, in fact, proved to be a success, so much so that DJ4SWING – ElectroSwing Party© has been chosen on numerous occasions for electronics product launches. All of this, perfectly coordinated by us at DJ4, and, working in close collaboration with the event manager, we will work out the timing and all the other details for tailoring the show to your requirements.
